The Magic of The Nutcracker

Photographing The Nutcracker at New England Academy of Dance is something I truly look forward to every year. Being in the theater, watching the dancers grow season after season, and witnessing how much confidence and artistry they gain is incredibly meaningful to me. These performances are not just about one night on stage. They are about years of dedication, practice, and passion coming together in a magical moment.

It is a privilege to be there with my camera, capturing the joy, strength, and grace under the lights. I love seeing familiar faces return each year, taller, stronger, and more expressive, and also meeting new dancers experiencing this tradition for the first time.

Thank you as always to Ginna, Francis, and Ted for all of your hard work and for trusting me to document such a special production. Your commitment to these dancers and to the art of dance shows in every detail.
